Business Analyst

ProOrbis Business Analysts work intimately with senior staff in a dynamic, innovative and collaborative environment and are given ownership of significant portions of client projects. Typical work activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting up financial, market and operational analyses
  • Designing business models
  • Financial modeling
  • Valuing tangible and intangible assets
  • Performing due diligence
  • Assembling organizational asset portfolios such as physical facilities, equipment, brands, human capital, strategic partnerships, information technology and intellectual property
  • Producing visual displays for client deliverables
  • Participating in client meetings and conference calls to review and present project results or ProOrbis-facilitated working sessions.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Four-year undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or related fields.
  • Strong academic performance: 3.5 cumulative GPA strongly preferred.
  • Preferably 1–3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, M&A, corporate development or similar environment.  However, exceptional new graduates with a demonstrated track record of success will be considered.
  • Experience operating in a top tier, challenging or demanding environment.
  • The capability and commitment to work effectively under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet very tight deadlines.
  • Focused attention to detail and high standards for quality and accuracy in personal work product.
  • Comfort and maturity to interact with all levels of an organization, especially senior management.
  • Command of the Microsoft® Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proof of citizenship if required for security clearances.
  • Ability to travel (required).
