Internship Program

ProOrbis is a boutique strategy and management consulting firm that focuses on advancing management science and applying it to the world’s leading commercial, nonprofit and governmental organizations. Our client work spans across widely varying industries from the public sector to financial services to commercial space.

ProOrbis’ internship program is the best opportunity to explore management consulting at ProOrbis. The typical duration and timing is 8–12 weeks in the summer.  There may be opportunities to intern during the spring or fall depending on the availability of the intern and the office schedule. The intern works on a client engagement as a member of the ProOrbis team over this duration.  The internship experience enables the intern to make a more informed decision in regards to pursuing management consulting in the long term.  At the end of the internship, a permanent offer may be extended to exceptional candidates.

ProOrbis Business Analyst Interns work full time with experienced Business Analysts and Consultants in a dynamic, innovative and collaborative environment. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will develop firsthand knowledge of clients’ business issues, while building critical problem-solving and communication skills.

Work activities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing analytical support to Business Analysts and Consultants on client engagements
  • Conducting market research, fact-finding and data modeling
  • Evaluating business operations and formulating strategic initiatives for improvement
  • Preparing presentations, visual displays and other relevant documentation

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong academic credentials. Minimum GPA: 3.2.
  • Preferably be a junior.
  • Preferably be pursuing a degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or related analytical field.
  • Strong interest in consulting.
  • Have a diverse set of skills including:
    • A keen desire for learning and knowledge with the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
    • The ability to work creatively and analytically, with little supervision, with a high expectation for themselves and the people around them.
    • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, distilling information into visual displays of information and preparing oral and verbal presentations.
    • A positive attitude, maturity, and professionalism.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge a plus.
